KIB 123 - A Time to Rebuild and Hold Fast

On today’s podcast, Dr. Lake reviews Rev 3:1-3 and outlines
several powerful truths within those verses. (1) We were once
alive and on fire for the Kingdom of God. (2) The Mystery
Religions have done their work, and the fire of God is about to go
out. (3) God is calling us to be watchful, strengthen the
truths of God that we have, and hold fast to them. (4) Coming
as a thief or thief in the night refers to the duty of the High
Priest on the Temple Mount to check and see if the priest working
that night was properly tending the fire on the altar of God; we
need to tend the fire of God in our lives. We have a similar
task as Nehemiah: It is time to rebuild the walls of the
truth of God’s Word in our lives. Once the walls are built,
new gates of authority and protection can be established.
Mary discusses how we celebrate Passover. She warns of
infiltrators in churches and groups that can be Trojan horses
filled with the enemy.
