It seems with each passing day a new event takes place in the world that is teaming with prophetic significance. However, the question needs to be asked: Can we be certain of our placement within God’s end-time prophetic timeline? When we view the historic predictions of Christ’s return, beginning at 500 A.D. by the Ante-Nicene Fathers, reaching a definitive conclusion is problematic. (Although, with the Apostle Paul, we can declare Messiah’s return is closer now than when we first believed.) Dr. Lake and Mary Lou examine these issues from both a historical and biblical perspective, while addressing the issue of whether we should stand down and let prophecy unfold or engage and occupy until Jesus returns.
